Default rock claws run times

How long are you guys running you losi rock claws before buying new rock claws? I know that depends on drivin styles ects. Do you guys think losi rock claws tires are at their best new? Or like other tires get better as you break them in?

Personally, I think they are the best new, and my rocks wear out tires fast(surface is like sandpaper)

I like them new as well (yes they work better new) but until the day I get beat solely because my tires weren't brand new I am not going to worry about it

Mine did seem to have a short breakin time, maybe 1/2 or full pack through them just soon as they fuzzed on the tread then they hooked up very well. After a few comps and some backyard crawlin i noticed they where not hookin up quite as well.So i did some custom dremel work on them and i think they hook up better now than they did when i first started runin them.Got a 2nd life out of them.Ive run them this way in 2 comps now and i dont think anybody has evan noticed they have been cut ,very suttle but apparntley enough.

BAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHA That's awesome!!

I have to say my claws were/are/probably will always be the best tire straight outta the bag I have ever run. I just got my second set with a deal from Brando and I think my 1/2 worn ones are still better than anything else I have run, and the new ones.......wow I forgot how good they were.

I ran mine for about 4 months daily then got some new ones.I t may be my driving style, but the old ones are almost bald but still have a ton of grab to them. The new ones were all shiny and new though, so I had do tear em up
