Default Msd Top Guns Locked And Ready To Rock!

Finally got them mounted and they look awesome. I used aces donuts but they are a little light. either I need some weights or some Kreepy reds. I did the screw hole breather, (2) 7/64 holes opposing each other and I lined them up with the "O" in Rock Claws so i can put 1 screw in, both or none depending on what terrain. works great so far. here they are...

Nice! I love mine. But agree, either some more weight or some kreepy foams and they would be 100% perfect. (They are 95% there just as they sit with the losi's anyway)

Any shots of the actual breather holes?

i will post pics when I break the tires back down to insert the kreepy reds. If you look real close at the pics, you will see that I have 1 screw out on each wheel but you have to look close.

how would wheels and tires increase my wheelbase when they are virtually the same size?

its slight but definitely more stable. I prefer it which is why I did not order the axial offset. plus, I don't plan on competing so no rules for me!

Newbie here, how much wider are those wheels? will they not tech in for a 2.2 comp? Do they make a wheel like that with a comp offset? I really like those wheels, and from what I heard they are the best at holding the beads in on the rock claws. I just stripped out my second set of Axials and these are the wheels I am looking to buy, I think.

a little tougher to lock the bead as far as making sure it is in before you lock down but they don't come out, that's for sure. The wheels are not wider than stock but the standard offset makes the overall width 3/4 inch wider. the axial offset keeps the stock width. not sure how either translates to comp regs.

USRCCA rules state that the maximum track width permitted is 12.5 inches (measured from outside to outside of the tires). So as long as your within those limits, you're good to go. If you just compete in "run what ya brung" comps, doesn't matter.

Sweet looking beadlocks. I ordered the same ones, but with the Axial offset. Every time I see them, I get excited about their imminent arrival. I don't think this is normal or healthy

What is overall width of your truck with these wheels as opposed to the stock axial ones?
