Default wheel weights for 1.9s?

I just got my 1.9 Rock Stompers in the mail, along with my white wagon wheels 1.9 from rc4wd.

Should I use wheel weights, or bbs?

I am building more of a trail rig, but I want to crawl a little bit as well.

If I use bbs, how many oz. should I use?

If I get wheel weights, where do I get them? Walmart? And how much weight should I use?

I will be building a High Lift, with the 1.9 Rock stompers. I might 4 link it, but for now, I will keep it pretty much stock. Leafs, 3 speed tranny, etc. I am ordering the soft springs from rc4wd as well though. THX

if its a trail rig you might not like the noise the bb's make...you also wont need much weight in them. You'd only notice needing weight when you started to crawl some technical stuff.

I've got my 1.9 Rock Crushers filled 90% with 12g AirSoft BB's. I'll get the weight later and post up.

I just do a few creek crossings and my foams absorb the fishy water, thus weighting my tires.

I use 2oz. on the front & 1 oz. in the rear. I'm thinking about adding some to the front though.

also, I use 3-3/4 oz each front, 2-1/4 oz each rear in addition to the weight of the beadlocks on both my gwagon and range rover 'trail' rigs...

you've seen the videos of what I crawl. The weight makes a nice difference on the rocks, not so much on real easy trails.

check my videos...

I am running 5oz per front wheel and 2.5oz per rear. I used the stick on wheel weights, I got them for free from pep boys by asking the service department.

Id like to see some video of it crawling, 27oz per wheel seem like a lot. I mean im rumming about 18oz in my fronts ea. because i have my batterys mounted in the rear to make up the weight diffrence but thats cutting it close with the amount of weight on the foams.....starts to get kinda squishy.

27oz! 18oz! Thats alot of weight, unless they are just Canadian oz's which then converted to U.S. oz's we end up at 2.7oz and 1.8oz....aaahh, that better, my bad. My cousin's from your city and we constantly battle over these conversions.
