Default M3 Masher vs Mayhem wheels

So after much frustration with trying to get the 8 shooters to hold my M3 mashers. I decided to just go with a set of Mayhems, even though i have heard that they wont hold the M3 masher beads very well. First thing I have to say is, the quality on these is amazing, I mean they look nice online, but once you see them its a whole new story. Very Impressed

I tightened the screws all the way, untill the rings seated agaisnt the wheel. No i didn't pull on the bead to see if it would come off, I just went out and drove it. After a few battery packs on them, i have to say I don't know how anyone is puling these off the rims. I mean when i went to change foams, the tires were stuck to the wheel, with the ring off i had to pull on them kinda hard to get them to unstick

i think you guys who are just mounting them up and then just pulling them as hard as you can, and saying, "oh I pulled them off, im not happy", should just go out and wheel. You don't putt in new axle shafts and then twist the tires the opposite way as hard as you can do you?

i agree with you 100%. i couldn't pull a bead off my mayhem wheels at all and i tried both on the rocks and with my hands. people that are pulling them off are not seating them properly.

Mayhem's are the best I have seen, and I have never lost a bead with them these are the only wheels I will ever buy.

The quality and performance of Mayhem Engneering wheels are as good as it gets. As far as mounting the M3 Mashers, I also had to put some effort to pull them off after I removed the ring.

I have 3 sets of mayhem wheels now and agree with everything you said. They hold a bead very well!! Only tire I haven't mounted to them yet is the new flat irons. No problems at all

I have 3 sets as well.

Totally love them, the quality is absoluley amazing, and you will rip the tire before the bead comes off IF DONE RIGHT!

The only poroblems I had mounting a tire was the Hammers, and that wasnt the rims, the tires are just a PITA to mount.

My flatirons were super easy, and the losi claws are a tire you can mount blindfolded.
