Default weighing wheels

I am running a gmade spider w the truck is big and weighs a ton but I cant seem to get the tires to grab as good as I want. How do you add weight to the wheels like I hear people taking about. Just like a car wheel weights? Also how much diffrence do lipo batteries make on such a big truck like this? I have heard both ways on the lipo, I put on a jr 403 oz/tq servo and its killing the battery now, like bad ran like hour before now runs like 15 minutes. Thanks for the help

Cool

to put weight in your wheels take the outer beadlock off go to your local tire or auto parts store pick up self stick tire weights and stick them on the inside of your rims usualy 10 ounces to ? anything you want works------------ or like i did goto your sporting goods store buy a couple of boxes of bb s or small lead shot fill the lower part of your tire to the rim seems to work pretty damn good for me

stick on wheel weights work really well for me. They can get kinda expensive if you need a large quantity and need to pay for them

Seeing that TCS is sellin the AE set for $5.69 for 3 oz sounds like a good deal to me.

McMaster Carr sells 5 pound lead ingots for 19.00 + s&h .

Or you can get a disgruntled tire store employee to give you some becouse he doesn't care that lead is now way more expensive than it should be.

So if you feel good about someone stealing from his employer for your benifit go ahead and do that. I'll bet the owner of a tire store wont give you 4 pounds of lead tape weights just becouse your a nice guy.

It floors me that people will drop a grand into a crawler and think that $35.00 is to much to spend on weight to tune the damn thing.

$5.00 a pound is too much to spend on weights to make your rig work right? Maybe you should forgo the shopping list above and just buy a RTR Axial....

I'm not sure but I have found that the .25 oz weights seem to work better for even weight distribution.
