From what I've heard they're 7x3.. in a 1:8 scale that'd be 56"x24" in 1:10 they'd be 70x30... I'd say they're more of a 1:8 scale tire though.

Here's what I got from Steve at Imex.

Hi,
The arrival date is first week of August.

Thanks,
Steve

Imex will receive them this week and start to ship them soon. I would look for them in stores in the next two weeks.

I know this is considered spamming but since you guys are showing intrest in them i figured you could use the info...

IMEX just recieved the K-rocks and I put an order in. I should Recieve them by the end of next week! To Pre-order a set for a very low price of just $43 for 4 tires (Retail-$66). Send an email to Sales@robshobbiesrc.com. Once I have them in the price will go up to $48.

We'll see if that opinion stands after a few get to run the krocks. I bought LST's because I was sick and tired of waiting on krocks. They work a hell of alot better than the last set of cut up imex tires I was running.

MaxxZ: They are for an E-Maxx rim... so no :P

CSR; I'll keep RCC posted on what I think of them, I should get them in the mail soon, but I've got several things to do still to get my rig running.

I got my K-rocks in today. I'm not sure if I like them. They are not as flexable or soft as the LSTs. Has anyone ran them yet?

Thats what I've noticed just from fiddling with them.. Buut the foam is SUPER firm, so maybe a softer one would help? Also some sipes down the center of each lug would help a lot. (makes each lug smaller, therefore moves easier and really grips.. thats whats so great about giant tracs.)

Click to download some groovable thread pattererns for real BFG Krawlers. They are for the un-grooved version of the Krawler. But I think the pattern could be applied to IMEX's version. Or could be printed to see how a possible pattern looks.

Yeah, I'm running foams in my LST tires. But I also got a set of K-Dawgs...I'm not running foams in those...the compound is not as soft as the LST's. Also, the included K-Dawg foams are garbage as far as I'm concerned...they seem like they were just cut from a block of styrefoam...Not Impressed with the inserts at all, poor quality.

I agree about the foams mine just made it to trash can. I cut the foams in half on my LSTs and they are really soft. I think I'm going to run the leftover halves in th K-rocks.

yes, i have heard that the k-rocks are sh!t on rocks..all the tread compresses together causing it to turn to a slick? some cutting might help it though do you think?
