Swamp dawgs

are the regular swamp dawg tires about the same size as the stock emaxx tires?

anyone actually have any measurements(height and width) of the reg swamp dawgs and the jumbo swamp dawgs?

thanks

Yea, the swamp dawgs are about the same size as the stock tires. The jumbo maxx ones are wider than they are tall. I will tell you this, don't waste your money on swamp dawgs, get the bft tires. trust me you will be sad if you buy swamp dawgs.

The bft tires are 6 3/4 tall they are the tires that come on associated's monster truck. The jumbo maxx swamp dogs are only about 6. The swamp dawgs are too hard of rubber, the pattern out of the box sucks. I don't even use them anymore, my maxx mashers on narrowed rims work better.

I ripped one, I thought you wanted the best crawling tire. Sure the swamp dawgs will look better but if you want to crawl get those and cut them.

Re: Swamp dawgs

I have found that the swamp dogs work ok if you cut ALOT of the tread off and your truck is extremely heavy. The rubber compound is just too firm. I let a guy borrow mine and his truck weighes about 20lbs. They worked fantastic on it!

I would not recommend the swamp dogs, mostly because there are better choices out now. the BFT's are very, very hard to beat. I have been running them longer than anyone else i know of and I can say that they have proven themselves for crawling!

Who wouldn't bealive Dirk? I am going to set out a tack strip for the UPS man, if he doesn't bring my BFT tires tomorrow. I can't handle these 4 days.

I know this thread is old but, what about the stock TXT tires cut with narrowed rims? That sucks that the swamp dawgs are such a hard compound. I always wanted boggers for my 1:1 rig but they are to soft to drive to the trail with. I guess for a second set I'll go with they mashers.
