Hey Peter (was it Pete or Peter?)

I was wondering if you ever finished those hot bodies tires. I was curious to see how they turned out but also in case you didn't like them as much as your kongs, LSTs or whatever else you may be concocting, I might be interested in buying them. I am planning to move my TLT up to maxx wheels/tires, but I don't want too large of tires on it, I also want to run narrowed maxx tires, and had planned to cut some down, but the tires were looking very nice when you were working on them, so thats why I ask. I want to be competition ready for the crawl after the 11th, and that means more power, more rubber, more clearance, and more wheelbase.

You do know how big these hotbodies tires and wheels are right?
They are huge. They work very well...surprisingly.

Dirk said it, those tires are huge! They are the size of pro-lines 40 series or bigger. Dont think I'd try them on TLT axles.

Ohhh, didn't realize they were that big. I thought they were like normal maxx tires. Nevermind then. :P

I am trying to get some stock savage tires from my friend for the time being, and if I like the idea enough, I will get some Jumbomaxx Claw dogs and narrow them to 2" or so. They are 6.25" tall, which I think will be just right.

Actually, the Claw Dogs are not even 6 inches tall. More like 5 7/8.

Even the jumbo maxx? On imex's site it says the regular claw dogs are 5.75" and the jumbo claw dogs are 6.25"

I'll go measure. I'm going off of this:

My Swamp Dogs are right at 6 inches tall.....EXACTALLY
The Claw Dogs are a tad shorter.

I was wrong.
I measured my narrowed Jumbo Dogs.

The full width Dogs are indeed 6.25

Alright cool, thanks for the help. If I can get these dang savage tires, I'll try my hand at narrowing.

Holy cow. The savage tires are massive, and they are 5.9"... I am thinking they are the tires I will stick with. unfortunately I only got two, because he wrecked a tire trying to get it off the rim, and most of the rims had no inner hubs because he blew them out with his high power motor, but it'll give me a starting point
