Don't do it! I fully disagree with the idea that star cut foams helps with anything, and believe me, I've tried it all.

I would not advise cutting memory foam either.

i say stick weights. ezer to get the same weight in the tires 2 reason if your out bashing in the woods and bust a wheel thare is nothing left behind. less impacked on mother nature. and i cracked two rims with bbs. and a few bead miss haps.

sorry for the mess on my post 1 to meny

I run my truck every day with BB's in the tires. If you're breaking wheels you're breaking wheels, that isn't the fault of the weight you use. And if you're that worried, pick them up if you do break a wheel.

Do not cut the foams the come with the Hammers. They work great. And stick on weights.

yup..cutting foams into star shape just making the foams softer and softer after each run....then they're unusable...

Ya it will make foams to soft and tires will wad up on u. Also sidehilling will suffer since there is no sidewall support in the tire. Also you get to much rear bite in the tire on verticle climbs flipping backwards much easier too.

Proline 8 shooters or Axials or Junfac Gmade are first to come to mind, cheap, and all them feature plastic centersection with alu rings.

Proline 8 shooters are the narrowest of the group, if that matters.
