Ok this is what happens when r/c crawling takes over your life!!! ![]() How bout this one? NARROWED JUMBO KONG DUALLIES!!!!!! same width as stock Kongs! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Obviously you'd need 8 Kong tires to make this work.....well if you wanted to run em front and rear. I think it'd look sweet havin em all around! These are just mockup shots. Since they are the same width as stock Kongs you could cut the beads off of Jumbo maxx rims for a slightly narrower look. I think once they were glued together you could probably mount em onto just about any maxx sized wheel as well. Stock Jumbo maxx rims would probably fit perfectly in this application. Oh and if you thought it was over??? THINK AGAIN!!!!! SUPER JUMBO KONGS!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() These babies measured out to 6 3/4" wide!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Again 8 tires needed here for a full set! I'm thinking mount these on stock Jumbo rims, since they're like 4" wide right? Should be just about right for these monsters!!!! |

cman, listen up: Crawling has taken over for sure!!! You have far too much time on your hands. Maybe some $$$ to spare also, since my wallet won't let me spend $100 on tires and then hack them. So, here is how we are going to fix this issue: When you have a pile of time and some $$$ to spare for experimenting with tires, just pack it all up and send it to me! I promise that I'll post the results. Well, that is; if I'm not too drunk to type!!! Seriously now, I'm glad that you're having a blast with the tires. Keep us posted! Vince |

Crawling is in my very bloodstream now!!!! Seriously, it's all I think about now! ![]() Time? I have no time! School makes certain of that....I just spend my time modding tires, cutting aluminum and making gear ratio calculations when I should be studying for an exam at 3 in the morning! ![]() Money? Well I had money....before all this started ![]() This hobby is too much fun! I'm really having the time of my life with this! I'll cut the other two tires this weekend and start narrowing and gluing....hopefully I can have pics and an update by then! -Chris |
