Question RC4WD BFG krawler tires

Anyone tried out the RC4WD's scale BFG krawler tires? Im really just looking for a good tire that gets good traction mainly on the rocks and maybe the snow..... Maybe more of an all around tire instead. I don't know, lol. I just wanna have to buy one set if possible, and member I'm a newbie so any info will help, and be greatly appreciated. Also if I could get any info on what kinda foams, and/or any type of cutting of the foams that would get the job done for what I'm looking for. THANX...... Im running a stock cr-01 . Also any info on if weights should be added or not would be great too..... thanx!!

Try the search option. When I have questions I try this first and usually get hundreds of threads that cover the topic. For tires and foams I use Hpi rock grabbers and Ntw reach foams. I like this setup so far.

x2...they are a great looking tire for a scale build, but their performance leaves alot to be desired.

Since the tread blocks are so broad and flat without any siping, they would be totally dependent on being formed out of a very good and sticky compound...which they are not.

IF they started making them using their new "X3 Ultra Soft" compound, they may work alot better, but until then...if you want a tire that performs well, look elsewhere.

They work pretty good on scale applications once you get them broke in!
