The Eritex beadlocks are really very good. You can also make some out of stampede wheels-How-To: Functional 2.2 Beadlocks for under $30 make sure you read the whole thread, the first way he tried didn't work as well as the second. One of the locals made some of those and had problems blowing out the hex, so he figured out that a 14mm (I think) socket fits snugly over the outside of the wheel hex, just cut the socket down, trim away some ribbing and glue the socket on. Holds up to his cobalt motor on 13 or 14 volts, and you can make them have any offset you want |

What size? For 1.9s you cannot beat the Axials! They're cool looking and are cheap at around $30 for a set of 4. I don't know who in their right mind would pay $60 for plastic wheels...

| I'll put my eritex against you Axial stock plastic wheels, I guarantee yours will break before mine, also look at some other Billet "plastic wheels" they cost more ,80+ and guarantee that those are better then your stockers.

And you can get aluminum 1.9 beadlocks for not much more so I don't see why anybody would choose plastic. I'll keep my Axials until I drive my MRC enough to warrant spending the money on aluminum wheels.

Comparing machined Delrin wheels to injection molded nylon is like comparing a Losi or AE RC car to a Nylint or Radio Shack RC. I guess until you have ran both you would not know the difference. Machined Delrin wheels are strong, tough, and heavy. Just what a good crawler needs |

I would go with the CPE wheels along with a set of Axial rings.

I know what delrin is. I used it extensively at my previous job as Plant Engineer. Heck, I converted all of the pistons in the displacment pumps, pumps that were the bread and the butter of the operation, to delrin. I'm just not a fool. Those pistons had much more detail than your wheels and you know how much they cost with custom machining? $7 a piece... If I wanted strong, heavy wheels I'd switch to aluminum!
