Tips on ways to remove glued tires from rims?

Well I won a set of Losi LST tires and rims on Ebay, unfortunatly I never thought about them being glued. Anybody have any tips on ways to remove the tires from the rims so I can narrow them (the rims). As of now I think there is too much backspacing and it will hit my maxx hybrid axles. The axles aren't done yet since my bandsaw is still not here, or I would test fit them. Ideas?

You can boil them in water for about 5 to10 min.But be careful because you can warp the rims. This works pretty good as long as your are not to worried about your chrome. I done about 12 wheels this way i messede the chrome up on one wheel you just got tobe careful : 8)

Alrighty, thanks a ton. I was thinking about getting a set of stocker Tmaxx wheels anyway. I guess i'll take my chances with the rims and if they turn out fine i'll cut em up. Does the glue just seperate or is it all guey?
