| How narrow is too narrow?
As far as wheels are concerned? I cut the inside bead of a stock maxx wheel, now outside bead to outside bead is 1 7/8", If I cut the outside off they'll be 1 1/2", I'm running standard rim Mashers and they're puckered in pretty far on the narrowed side, I'm just worried they'll end up too narrow, but cutting beads off is easier than picking all the CA saturated rubber pieces off the rims ( I basicly tore the stockers off the rim, so theres quite a bit of CA and rubber left in the beads). What width are you guys running your narrowed rims at?

Well,at one time I ran wheels that were only 1" wide,a little on the extreme side but they worked O.K.. The wheels I'm running now are 2" wide,my sons wheels are 1 1/2" wide which I like a little better. Mine may become a little skinnier shortly

I too am running stock maxx wheels. I took a little over 3/4" out of the center. Never measured the result, but they are pretty narrow. They do look ok with the MGT tires.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to cut the inner and outer beads of the rest of the wheels tomorrow, I like the shape of the tires better on the narrow wheels, pulls the ends of the chevrons out past the sidewall a little, where stock width leaves just those measly little side biters mashers have.
