Default 2 types of tires to MUST have

If you had to bring only 2 types of tires at comps which would that be?

Even for wet/dry comps.

I currently have rovers white(my first ever comp tires and crawler) and i'm looking into getting one more set as a tuning option.

I do seem to prefer taller tires though...we went out for a short course today and rovers seemed to be much easier to drive almost anywhere compared to Claws, hammers and Jconcepts rocx.

Rovers and Panthers are your best bets, some say the Pink Rover do well in wet, cold conditions, but I have no personal testing to confirm.

White dot Rovers is my #1 choice, for #2 I would go with either Sedonas, or Cougars. You might prefer lepards over cougars but in my area lepards don't do as well. Oh and whatever you decide to run they all work the best with Nova foams in them.

I really like the white rovers w/ nova foams, But I am seriously considering making a set of pin tires like Delmonte runs. The one thing holding me back is buying all those tires and ultimately failing because I have never tried to make tires yet.

I have seen these pin tires work great on supers, and Delmonte's just plain worked at Motorama. I guess the driver had something to do with it too. (I hear the beard plays a role as well)
