Default Pit Bull Rock Beast tires

Was looking at some new tires for my wife's ATV and ran across these. Haven't seen anything posted about them yet, so here goes....

If this has already been posted, feel free to smack me around a little bit

Not to derail the thread, but Swamp Fox's blow chunks I had a set before I got my Maxxis Bighorns and they lasted 5 months before they got bad cracks in the sidewalls of all 4 tires and wouldn't hold air.... And in that 5 months, I put less than 50 miles on them (winter).

It says Spring of 2010, so I guess pretty soon... Like I said, this was the first time I saw them... I haven't seen them for pre-order on any websites like TCS or RPP yet....

Bighorns are the best all around tires imo. I love mine.

Back on the subject though, they do look pretty good. Only one way to really find out. lol

i talked to a pit bull rep awhile back about these and saw some prototypes...
they are probably going to be a great comp tire.

they are big and very sticky...
we should be seeing these very soon.

they are basically losi rock carvers. When the carvers came out PBT threw a fit because the tires were a clone of their 1:1. So pitbull "licenced" them. Now it looks like they are making a slightly more scale version of the same tire...thinned out some of the edges and threw their name on it. I would bet losi is still making them for PBT...

On the ATV side of things I've heard very good reviews on the pitbulls with the V shaped lug pattern (Growlers, maybe), similar to a Bighorn in performance except much better in mud. It'll be interesting to see how these do on a comp rig.

Hmm... says they are 5.5 OD... If PitBull is making them themselves, I hope the compound is rock hard as the image looks like.

I've ran Swamp lites from interco tire, they are a great all around tire with great sidebite and forward bite.

The Pitbull rep at the 4x4 Jamboree said they were making the tires for us and they will be incredible.

Its cool that a 1:1 company is getting in the game, even if its just a little bit. Could you imagine if BFG or Goodyear started doing that? The scaler guys would pee thier pants...

No kidding. We might also get the same tire in different sizes for the same rim!

I don't think I'm asking for much, except for a 2.2 KM2 in 4.75", 5.35" & 5.5" OD's.
