|  For guys running vanquish pro comp wheels on your comp trucks, please read.
Are you finding you need more weight than what you can have on there or is it enough to fill up the front and maybe put 2 in each back wheel? What are your thoughts?

I usually run with the front loaded with the bullet weights, and the rear either empty or with 2 weights, depends on if there are alot of climbs, downhills or sidehills. Best bet is to try them light and slowly add weight to see where the happy medium is. Good luck!  |

from what I have seen on videos people run the fronts loaded, and it seems to work great, I just cant tell if there is some more lead under the tire or not. I guess you dont want it to heavy.

I run mine fully loaded with the silver weights which I believe are a little lighter then the bullet weights. I run the SLW's in the rear so no weight and it works out perfect. For the rear you either run them with some weight and deal with a heavier crawler or run them empty and get some practice in throttling out on steep down hills. You know what they say in racing "when in doubt, throttle out". |

OK... I'm trying some DH's for the first time. I was going to try them with 4 slugs each front first... but with the nylon tuning rings and Sedonas, each front weighed 16oz  So I run mine completely empty (12.5oz) and it works perfectly with 6oz. rears. My opinion is that the lighter you run in the rear, the lighter it allows you to run the fronts. I think a nimble truck will climb better if it's lighter. Some people use a lot of weight to compensate for stiff suspensions. Then sometimes you need a bunch of weight up front to make certain types of climbs and breakovers. |

on my tigress build i made my own adjustible weight system for my DL's using real brass bullet case's and filled with melted lead............bob .... |

the vents holes from VP dont come with the wheels, it is a option to have them do it for a price.............bob .... |

I just received a set of DH's. They are drilled and tapped w/ a set screw. I run 3 bullets up front, SLW V2's rear w/ 1.5oz added

I have DH1's up front and SLW V4's in the rear. I started out with 4 weights in each wheel up front and have backed down to 3 in each. I am going to keep working my way down and see what happens. I prefer a lighter rig.

I've tried different weights on my T1e Rockshow Bully (heavy bully axles), and I prefer running all 6 bullets in the front along with unweighted SLW v4 rears. I sacrifice a little bit on turning in some rough off camber stuff, but it does way better on the steep climbs & breakovers. I'll find out in a week or so if it's as good with the light weight bullys or if I need to change the weights. On moa's, I prefer to not weight the rear. However, on an Axial, I like just a little weight in the rear, too, in order to counter the higher cog of the trans & dig sitting on the chassis. |

i run all six std slugs on narrowed dh to.825 wide and v1 slw's in back with no weight. seems to work good on my beetlejuice in all situations( monorock, downhills, climbing, broken rock, sidehills). runnin sedonas with tire vented.
