| Cut N Shut 1.9 RC4WD Spooky tires by Crawler Innovations
A friend asked me to reduce his 2.2 RC4WD Spooky Krawler tires to 1.9 for a new scale rig he is working on. Here is what I came up with: I mounted one onto a Vanquish Product 1.9 because it only has 6 screws per side unlike my Mayhem 1.9 scale bead locks. Here they are compared to a Pro-Line 1.9 Flat Iron. The tires are massive! They are 4 7/8 tall. I searched the tire and wheel section and did not find a tread on it so I thought I would post them. Thanks for looking. |

Right now there is no foam in them. Depending on what his rig weighs in at, he might not need foam. The carcass on these freaking tires is ridiculously thick. If he does need foams, I will probably make up a custom dual stage foam for him using a standard 1.9 dual stage inner and custom outer. He had been using a 5.0 dual stage foam in them when the tires were 2.2. | |

Nice job! They look great and they do look huge! I'm still waiting on someone to come out with a 4.75" tall 1.9 w/o having to do this to a set of 2.2's. I don't have the guts to hack up an expensive set of tires. |

| No way these bad boys are gonna fit on that. It would take a serious dove tail in the front and major cutting in the back. Add in the great turning of the Losi axles and you are gonna have serious clearance issues. These are the biggest 1.9's I have seen or made. Just 1/8 under 5 inches. It might be time for a KOH or TTC build with these tires |

Awesome tires...nice and tall! I love seein the custom tires bein made lately. Ive got a TON of em and am constantly lookin for ways to make others...its always rewarding when you cut/shut, sipe, and modify a tire and it actually ends up workin out!!! Matt |
