I'm rite at 5lbs and I ended up using Nova's 5.5 inners and he's new prototype outer memory foam's, front and rear. No more hopping and super smooth to drive now.

When its really cold, I've been switching to a dual-stage foam or even a standard rock claw foam that has been trimmed.
Compared to the over-sized proline memorys are these temp sensitive, also what size dual stage foams

How much weight do you have in your wheels if I may ask

I got alot of time on these today with my foam set up I listed a page ago. They work well but they aren't magic. The stock pink foam in front feels good most times, but they don't dig well to the side when the truck is on a sloped face.

They work well on smooth rock and grab big ledges well, but on big surface rock with small ledges and grooves on the vertical slopes, the Rovers seemed to have the edge.

Anyway... they don't suck and I'll keep running and tuning them. And I got a lot of video of these tires versus Sedonas on the same courses. It will take me a while to get them on here though.

Have you tried a softer front foam? I didn't like the stock foams in the front tires on most rock. They don't wrap up enough on climbs for me

Just got mine mounted up today on my new Turbines with Nova 5.5 up front and stock foam in the rear. Little tricky getting them seated at first because of the size of the bead but figured it out and all went together fine.

I've got one wrap in front so we're sitting at 8.3oz. without tire and foam.

Rears have no weight so we're at 5.3 without tire and foam.

Attachment 139415

That picture of bmuzz's reminded me...

When you guys get these out of the package, you should give them a nice bath. I used half strength Simple Green, I'm sure dishsoap would work too, but wash 'em good. Couple seconds into it, the tire was covered in brown Simple Green. I did mine twice. Maybe I should have used full strength.

That wouldn't have been a bad idea at all.

Plugged up the holes with some aluminum tape and gave them a dish soap bath. What a difference that made, now they are black and sticky and dang was the water brown.

Now you tell me! I was so excited to get them on my truck that I didn't even think about a little wash.

I'm guessing it's the mold release agent. Could be just general dirt from manufacturing.

Either way, cleaner tires are stickier tires.
