Nitto Mud Grapplers

Does anyone make a Nitto Mud Grappler tire?

I would love to get my hands on a set of these!

Thanks

Tryker46 11-29-2010 08:51 AM

Short answer, no. The closest thing are rc4wd.com outcroppers I believe they are called. They are close but not officially licensed or anything.

Thanks Tryker, I looked at those and your right, there close but not exact.

I would love to find someone who could make these!

Thanks

No problem, hopefully more 1:1 companies will come to the rc side of things.

Glad I could help!"thumbsup"

There would be alot of people buying these tires if a company came out with a set.

I have some of these on my 1:1 also in the 38.5" and I also have the New Brite ones from a Jeep my son broke and have wanted to use them on a scaler but the wheel size is pretty big so it would be some major customizing.

0lllllll0 12-03-2010 10:19 AM

Yeah I saw those new bright ones. I wish they would work with our rigs.

n8big 12-03-2010 11:07 AM

They are really hard! But I'm sure you could modify the wheels and or make rims to fit.

outcroppesr hook up really well and are close

team3six 12-03-2010 09:03 PM

The problem with making them is on a scaled down version it would be like driving with a street tire. some tires just dont transfer over well.

AkFordfan 12-03-2010 11:46 PM

I cut the beads out of a set and glued in some 2.2 beads, they look sweet but suck a**. I tried soaking them and heating them up but they wouldnt even budge under the weight of my 12# rig

0lllllll0 12-03-2010 11:50 PM

Yeah those New Bright tires are junk. We need someone to make us a GOOD off road set that we would be proud to run on our rigs!!
