Default flat irons running...flat...

I've got a foam question and after looking through countless threads im still stuck.

I just finished an all metal build rig weighs in at 15+ lbs and now im tearing it back down to make it a crew cab, its only going to get heavier.

I'm running the 1.9 flat irons on darksoul alum. beadlocks w/ memory foams, now I know the flat irons are a very soft compound to begin with and I love the performance I get with them but there just too soft and before I go ahead and buy some new foams I want to make sure I get the right ones the first time.

so whats a good med - stiff foam for a 1.9 tire?

any stock foams from any tire

honestly just find an old pair of tires with those horrible stiff foams and they should work.

thats just the thing...I dont have any readily available... or believe me I would have by now. and the stock memory foams that I do have are pretty shot from twisting inside the tire

so I pretty much asking what foams are to stiff for you guys' likings cause those are probably the ones i need

Alright I'll look into those, I still want tire flex I dnt want them like plastic stiff or anything just beefier than the memory's.

when im crawling up any kind of incline they litterally look like wrinkle wall slicks, and just sitting on flat ground they have the nice aired down bulge to em but as soon as any extra load is placed on they instantly flatten out down to the rim.

at first it was kinda cool looked just like a really aired down 1:1 tire, but after running it awhile ...they really suck and their perfomance has just went downhill every run since

those might be too tall for the iron's
maybe find either a tire foam a little taller than the iron's and see what the weight does or find one thats the same height as the iron and tack a thin layer of memory foam so that it still has some squish

I'm not broke just tired of buying parts on impulse that I really can't or won't use...

Isnt that the point of the forum? so you can get info on the right parts?

The stock gray rc4wd foams that come in their tires are a medium stiffness.

I used the proline memory foams in my 1.9 roc lox because the roc lox foams were to stiff for my taste.
