| Smallest, good performing 1.9s?
As I try to finish my class 1 truck, I am undecided on what tire to use. I currently have Rock Stompers and the size is just right but they are too hard. I could go to 1.5s but there are no wheels out there like the ones I am using for this build. Any suggestions? Here is the build: "Big Dummy" class one project. |

The 1.9 BFG MTs from RC4WD work pretty damn well: http://store.rc4wd.com/Mud-Thrashers...res_p_220.html |

^x2 on Mud thrashers! love mine! they hook up great and IMO they kill flat irons on rock even though they are shorter!

Those look good, they are even a bit smaller than what I have. If they hook up better than flat irons on the rocks, I might have to give the a shot. Thanks guys.

I read that RC4WD Dirt Grabbers actually do pretty good on rocks http://store.rc4wd.com/Dirt-Grabber-...res_p_658.html These look pretty scale too http://store.rc4wd.com/Mickey-Thomps...es_p_1433.html |

Personally I know a guy that cut and shut some 1.9 TSL's onto 1.55 wheels and they look freaking awesome! I really like the RC4WD flashpoints for a smaller 1.9. They are badged as military but knowing all the rednecks with tractor tires on their 4WD's they look more redneck to me than military. They also work really well. BTW, very nice looking build. I always loved Sanford & Son, Red Foxx was the man! |

I'd go with Mud Thrashers, personally. Reduced Swampers down to 1.55 would be great, but I'd hate to see you not be able to run them (legally) in Class 1 at a comp. Are you sure you can't get the wheels you want in a 1.55? That rig screams for them!

i second the thrashers, they are probly the softest tire rc4wd has ever produced, AND they look amazing. a great tire.
