tire traction

the simplest way to get your tires to be sticky (and this makes them look good)
just get spray tire shine!

meat tenderizer

In my experience with tire shine, it tends to make the tire surface more slick :?

Yeah, I learned at a early age not to put the stuff on bike tires. You'll be off your bike on the first turn.

Mad Scientist 05-11-2006 11:20 PM

Well, generally you don't put it on the tread surface - just the sidewall ;-)

I have found that the best thing to do is just to buy PROLINE tires and call it good. Just a little info i picked up over the years.

Has anyone tried belt dressing for cars? That stuff is extremely sticky.
