Cleaned mine this weekend. I used Purple Power diluted in water. Can be found in the car cleaning supplies.

Remove tires from rims
Dilute Purple Power in water
Sumerge tires in solution
Let soak around 5-8mins. (The water will become darker form the dirt particals it is pulling out of the tire)
After soaking scrub the tires with something other than your hands, "The tires were grippy enough to wear blisters on my thumbs."
Dry and remount.

The tires will look like new.

X2 on the Simple Green. Works the best IMO and is relatively cheap. About $4-$6

Simple Green and some good ol' elbow greese... cant beat it... cheap, always available at any automotive store, and comes in concentrated gallons, so for 16$ a gallon usually lasts me a year or so... and i haven't found anything that makes a tire stickier , except maybe caramel...

although i hear there's going to be something coming to the vendors section soon that may do wonders for dirty, beat up tires..., but i still haven't heard if they perfected the formula yet... should be soon tho hopefully???

Simple green and a medium hard bristle brush.

It's like chronic for your tires, makes them "sticky icky"

I have actually found that after a run if I spray down my whole truck (Scaler obviously) with simple green and double saturate the tires, let stand about 3 minutes and then use a compressor to blow all the gunk out and repeat, I end up with spotless tireas and chassis. I then use a clean rag and some organic window cleaner to wipe down the body and give it a little buff and it shines like new. Minus the huge gashes and scratches in my once beautiful paintjob.

Dollar tree has something called Totally Awesome in a spray that works rather well and WAY cheaper than Simple Green.

I buy a large jug of Simple Green from Walmart. Then I mix it in a small spray bottle 50/50 with water. Then brush away with a toothbrush or large scrub depending on the tire!

Cleans well on my Baja, rock crawlers, 1/8 buggies, monster trucks, you name it!
