Exclamation Axial 1.9 Ripsaw Tires

Axial 1.9 Ripsaw Tires

AX12016 1.9 Ripsaw Tires - R35 Compound (2pcs)

Axial's new 1.9 Ripsaw tire is the little brother to our bigger 2.2 Ripsaw tires. Designed for scale looks and performance, this tire performs well in all situations. Throw what you will at them it will make no difference, mud, rocks, water, sand or dirt. Axial's new Ripsaw tire will make short work of it all!

• Realistic and aggressive tread design for the ultimate in scale appearance and performance.
• Tread lugs are recessed and siped for maximum traction.
• Molded ribbing between the lugs help keep mud and snow from packing into the tire tread.
• R35 sticky rubber compound.
• Fits 1.9 wheels and beadlocks.
• 4.3" tall x 1.9" wide.
• Tire foams included.
• Two tires per package.

I think the 2.2's look a bit more scale but these look good and I've heard good things about the R35 compound. How's the traction on rock when wet?

How tall are the lugs? Do the tires have any ribs on the inside for support?

Any idea when the Walker Evans wheels will be available and if they'll be available in satin silver? They'll really complete my KOH rig perfectly.

The R35 compound is awesome. I have a lot of time on my 2.2 Ripsaws and they are tough to beat in any conditions that I have seen. Wet traction is great, even with sand and dirt on your tires. The lugs on the 1.9 Ripsaws measure about 2.5mm tall, or .100 deep. There is no internal ribbing. The Walker Evans wheels should be available soon, not sure about a satin version though, I will have to check on that.

I love my 2.2" Ripsaws but for 1.9" I'm pretty well set with the tsl-sx. I'll have to see what I think of these if/when I see them in person.

They are in stock in our warehouse. Your local hobby shop or favorite on-line retailer can order them right now.

Another question about the wheels. Will the Axial wheel weights work with these new wheels?

I just saw these yesterday on a scx10 at hobbytown in Dallas. Kills me that they are 4.3 inches. Might have made a great 1.9 comp tire.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but most tires I have noticed come with memory foams and this is actually stated in the description of the the product on most online stores. I have noticed that the new 1.9 Ripsaw's only state foams.

Are they just foams or memory foams?

I don't usually store any of my RC's on their wheels but I suppose if they only have foams then it is even more reason to prop the chassis up on the base plate!
