Made a set for my caster racing dt10. Same process for the proline beadlocks.

Had to post these. So stoked on how they came out. Pretty easy too. Still need some touch up, but way cheaper than buying rims.

Wow! Just when I thought this idea couldn't get any better. I'm definitely jumping on this bandwagon. Awesome idea, and thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

Just finished the drill press mod with the stock 8 hope wheels and 225 vp hubs. The 3/8 length didn't work, ordered a bag of 5/8 as well as slim lock nuts

OK maybe I didn't see it but how did you keep from hurting my he threads of the hubs ?
Also I axial 1.9 how much does this widen the track width ? I already have the xr mod and don't need much more width. However will be nice to widen the rear

when i did mine i was worried about buggering up the threads too. so i got some brass tube roughly the same o.d. as the i.d of the threads. i turned it down by chucking it in a dremel and sanding it. i slid this tube in the threaded hole and a 1/16th size drill bit if i remember in the tube. i also soldered a piece of brass rod to the tube so i could hold it to prevent it from spinning. then i enlarged the holes with the hub off. hope that helps
