Why?

The pink rover does not have a strong following like the white dot rover. The pink compound tends to attract dust so keeping the tire clean is premium. The Pacific North West seems to suit that tire.

I have already done some 6" Pink Dot Rover sets:

What kind of foams could you make to support 2.2 RokLoxs in a 15lb scaler?

Gotcha...I haven't run them, just figured I would after wearing out my existing white dots. Can you make 7" White dots then?

RC3WD lists them as 5.35 tall...
5.5" will fit but over the stuff the tire considerably, which might be what you need for 15 pound support. If that's OK with you, 5.5 Double Deuce Pair, Closed cell inner medium outer front, firm outer rear.

The 5.25" would fit the tire also, but with a smaller inner, you may not get the support you need.

You can email me. There are only 2 sets in existence. I can make another set, but it's going to be expensive.

7" tires from what? Used tires? Sidewalls yes, but tread surface no.

Patience. Mail me your sidewalls and when the next shipment of sedonas arrive I can get started

Big tires and 48 pitch gears don't go together very well. I will be converting to 32 pitch in this wraith for use with these monster tires.

My Honcho has been (and will be) great fun, but now my Wraith is for crawling and speed, gotta love more throttle!!! That's another reason foams like yours and not so narrow (and strong) wheels are good.

This whole wheels sticking way out while stuffed onto narrow little wheels has frustrated me so much that I bought a set of stock XR-10 beadlocks to try! I'm not buying some blingy beadlocks until I see exactly what I want. I want wheels that are properly inset for my wide Wraith axles so that my kingpin steering axis is at or near the center of the tire's contact patch for better steering and the ability to squeeze BETWEEN the rocks while climbing a gnarly sidehill. Tires properly supported by the rim and foam work best.
nice written... Im new on the crawler scene, but also not liking the big tires on really narrow wheels, now I really ilke some DNA snipper wheels that I think are 1" and 1.2" with rings, how would they look on stock r35 2.2 ripsaw on wraiths ?
too balloning? decent fit? right fir or perfect fit?

PS: I really dig this 6.5" ripsaws tires.. they will be awesome on a MT rig too.

Set #3 went out this week headed to So Cal. I'm sure you'll see them at a G6 somewhere.
