| Internal Beadlock Wheels
Hello, new here and need your help. Would someone explain how an internal beadlock wheel works. Is there a screw type bead lock or is this another term for a wheel that you glue the tire to. Thanks

internal beadlock wheels are a 3 piece design with a front a back and an internal sleeve that locks the tire in place. regular beadlock wheels have a rim with external rings that clamp the tire in place. rims where you glue the tire in place are also called nonbeadlocks. hope this helps |

Here's an example of one. Notice the ring inside just floats inside the beads of each side of the tire. The outer rings lock together, clamping down on the ring inside: |

That looks like more of a pain in the ass to swap tires than beadlocks.
