Default Heading to beach - which tires?

I'm heading to the beach and where we're going I can bring my Wraith. Sand is an alien thing for me and I don't spend a lot of time in the sand so not going to buy paddles. Should I stick with the stock Ripsaws or Proline Chisels? I won't have a ton of space to bring a bunch and might see if I can stick both sets of tires in, but I'm initially thinking the Chisels might be the way to go.

I'll probably have a Castle 1410 motor (3800kv 4 pole) in it so it will be more like an FOFF vehicle than crawler. No rocks where we'll be.

Ive used several different tires (Rok Lox, Flat Irons, Ripsaws and Geolandars) on my Honcho and the Ripsaws seam to float on sand the best. Its easy to dig in sand, which you don't want to do. I don't use wheel weights in sand as well. Less weight, the better. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I don't run any weight on my Wraith and have the stock Ripsaws (RTR) which are pretty mushy. My Chisels are on stock XR10 wheels and they are vented, but the foam keeps plugging the holes so they tend to be more bouncy (great in the yard when driving with my son, but bouncy still). I'd love some TSL's and Motoworx wheels but the wife hasn't approved me spending another $160 on wheels and tires.

Ran my CR-01s on the beach this week. The 2.2s floated really well no problems. First time on sand with 2.2 crawler and was actually surprised how well they drove.

I am getting ready to head to the beach myself in a couple weeks with my wraith. I just bought 4 2.2 sand paws and 4 black 8 hole beadlock wheels from amainhobbies for 76 bucks. Contrary to popular belief, wheels and tires can be bought on a budget.
