Looks and sounds like the perfect tires for my Wreckluse build. Will they be possible to mount on RC4WD OEM steel wheels? I read that there were problems to mount the old 2.2 Pitbulls on those wheels. |

Hey Tim, is there any overall size difference between the 5.5 and 6.0 close cell inners?

Tested these today on the rocks east of where the Mini Rubicon TTC course is going to be. I'm still impressed at how well these work right out of the box. Drove right through an old comp course that caused havoc to TLT comp rigs back in '09. Still shooting for some mud testing after work today.....

Are you going to Axial NW Scale Challenge ? If not, what would it take to get these tires out of your hands so I can run them for that week ? There is no way Piggy will let me borrow his and I am worried that they may not be available in time. Plus, Tim would be really scared if I had a set also Serious though, if there is a chance, I sure would like to have the opportunity to put these tires on the podium Devlin

Poor Devlin...... So I hiked down to Spring Park today and found some really sloppy mud. Dug into my bag to get my GoPro and realized I left it in my car. Then I reached into my pocket to get my iPhone....in the car. Dammit! I didn't want to hike the half mile back up there, so I decided to just have some fun driving. Well, if any of you are worried about these babies cleaning out, worry no more. I drove into the mud until I was pushing it with my front axle, the tires started spinning, and the tires had a half inch of mud clinging to the tread, then gave it full throttle and proceeded to fling mud at least 6 feet into the air. The truck just rode up onto the mud and scooted across the river bank. By the time I had made 2 or 3 passes, you couldn't tell what kind of truck I was driving, it looked like a giant cow pie with tires.....so I drove straight into the river. I figured it was a good test to see if it was waterproof for the TTC in September. Drove around with the truck completely submerged for a half a minute and the truck is perfectly clean! Nice! I'll make sure I grab my GoPro tomorrow and get some video, you're going to love it! Last edited by War Pig; 08-20-2012 at 08:18 PM. |

Finally.... a tire manufacturer that answers our cries with a quickness. I love the 1.9s and if the 2.2s are anything like them you guys have a hot cake on your hands. The real 1:1 tires are amazing as well.
