| Well, I tore the sidewall on my swamp dawgs, and while I really want to buy those 2.2" Giant Tracs someone else posted about, I just don't have the money... I tried IC2000'ing it shut, but that didn't last very long at all, so I decided tonight to stitch it shut. So here's the pic. Black thread, it looks really random and chaotic but I basically ran stitches to each side, then made angled stitches from further out, all the way back to where I started. Tightened it up with some knots and there you go. I plan to get some more IC-2000 tomorrow (ran out) and fill it in again. Its already really strong, but I think with both of these bonds it'll work better. |

| I figured, if it was good enough for spleens, stomachs and hearts, it was good enough for crawling. I was kicked out of my room for a bit while my mom used the computer and I saw her sewing room and it gave me the idea. |

| Wouldn't a piece of bike inner tube work? |

I am definately going to cover the stitches with IC-2000. I figure with just the right rock, the threads will get cut through. As it is, the fix is very strong, but I don't want the threads cut and me losing the tire again. Innertube might work, but this was free Hmm... maybe I can start stitching on some side biters, maybe even crochet a taller tire...

While I'm sure that sewing the tire saved the day, I'm more likely to have some CA glue in my stuff than a needle and thread....
