| Tires to fit Stock Clod Rims
I was wondering what kind of options I had for tires that fit the stock clod rims. I couldn't find anywhere on here that had a list of the names of the tires and companies that make them. I appreciate your help.

there are getting to be less and less options for clod rims. Everyone just goes to maxx stuff now. Your best bet for clod tires is http://www.imexrc.com/CLOD_NEW.htm Otherwise stock tires are about it, unless you can find a set of pro line giant trac's. The giant trac's are the best tires made for clod rims but they are getting to be pricey due to there discontinuation. Otherwise with some mods you could make some maxx tires fit your clod rims. |

How would you get the maxx tyres to fit clod rims? Or can you fit maxx wheels without buying adapters at stupid prices?

You can put Maxx tires on Clod rims using these: http://www.rcalloys.com/pricelist/txtbeadrings.html You can get Maxx adapters here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4813 or here http://www.thecrawlerstore.com/wheelproducts.html or here: http://www.bendercustoms.com/acc.htm |

Maxx wheels and adapters are your best bet because the tires have a better tread pattern and use softer compounds, but if you don't want to invest in adapters, go with a set of Proline Giant Tracks. They aren't made any more, but still work great on rocks, my brother is selling a set already mounted on narrowed wheels if you're interested.
