i had several people PM me about painting/detailing the hubs. here is what i did on my personal sets. i painted the flange using Krylon Satin Black, and detailed the hub using a ultrafine sharpie shown with SS TR ring, and MTHead Delrin ring (murdered out!  )  |

I purchased them not only because the stellar looks and great value, but also for their versatility. Where else can you get a beautifully machined aluminum bead lock wheel with all the extras and still have adjust-ability? With the use of the VP hubs you have tons of options with track width. For my set up on my C1 rig, I went with the black "Chameleons" and Vanquish SLW 225 hubs so that I could keep the tires tucked for Class 1 rules. With the 225 hubs, the offset is just about 1/16" wider each side than a plastic HPI stock car wheel, so overall, track width increased by a 1/8". That's what sold me!    |
