| What tires for stock Clod/TXT wheels ? Baja, Swamp Dawg, Truck Pull, ... ?
Hello. I want to buy new tires for my TXT to put on stock wheels. I had some Moab XL with narrowed Cheyenne but I didn't like the look. I prefer big tires like stock. So, I have found some tires avalaible but what are the best for crawling : - IMEX Baja - IMEX Swamp Dawg - IMEX Truck Pull Here is some pics : Baja Swamp Dawg Truck Pull PS: I also know Proline Giant Track but ....... I didn't find them. Thanks Last edited by Benlatak; 08-18-2006 at 06:36 AM. |

I havent had any experience with the swamp dog, or truck pull tires, but I can tell you that the bajas are not very good for crawling, and the diameter is pretty small to so they didnt offer much ground clearance. If size is what your after the swamp dogs are the tallest out of the 3. Oh, I also cut my bajas, and they still sucked for crawling

got mud? pullers are really good for mud..crawling, youll be better off getting 2.2 rims and imex redrocks (5.5" tall) so you'll have good clearence..still cheaper than just clod tires! |

I'll probably end up using Imex All-ts as there aren't many rocks where I am, but plenty of mud |
