Default TSS "Chameleon" 1.9 Bead locks

Well I had to order up serial #01 again from Cory to make sure the first set stayed home(Texas).
These are by far the nicest 1.9 wheels I've ever owned. The machine quality on these is top notch from what you would consider out of a major manufacturer. I always inspect machined parts extremely close being a machinist myself.
They mount up flawlessly.

The stainless rings(Trail Ready) weigh a whopping 7/8oz on top of just being able to change the looks.

Add in some scale hardware from RC4WD and it gets that much better.

The scale hubs are yet another added bonus of these wheels. If you choose not to run them on these as I probably won't, they feature the popular SLW bolt pattern, which makes them functional on many other wheels from VP.

Just wish I had my SLW hubs so I could bolt them up.

These are one of those products where the iPhone pics don't do justice. Can't wait to get my hubs and pitbulls for them. Then I'll have to build a truck for them.

You'll be very happy with them. I'm very picky when it comes to wheels and especially scale wheels. I'm just waiting on my local dealer to get stock on tires.

Dang, that's a good looking combo. Are the rings thick enough for a counter bore to recess the hardware some?

Absolutely. I'm probably gonna go back and double up on the hardware on mine also.

Awesome, I need to pick up a set after the holidays.

Sounds like a hand cramping good time with what will be 32 scale bolts per ring.

Half will be dummy screws but yeah, the first time will suck. But it's way worth it.

yes the SS TR rings are 1/8" thick
im thinking about switching my gold scale bolts (like clays) to the black versions to make them pop more after seeing R2Js with the black bolts.

no need to cramp your hands up. i made myself this little "Tommy R tool"

brake line and a metric screw brazed together.

here is Tommy Rs origonal idea. its a traxxas revo driveshaft screw pin and washer
