The ONLY-WAY to run the 40s OK I used just Rit dye (you can get it at the grocery store) I dyed these rims and some chrome RPM rims and some Stock Chrome Savage rims. The Mambos and the RPM rims turned out good but the Savage went all wierd... the are all splotchy blue and black and flat in some spots. Grizz I dig the black but I also like the chrome  but I thought the chrome was too much on the 40s for me.rckjeep, I'm not keen on the gay jeep top either... I bought it for only $15 already painted a while back as a beater lid and I keep beating it and beating it hoping it will die... but the damn thing is still holding up. |

The ONLY-WAY to run the 40s looks good PF I like the black. in rock crawling the crome rims would just chip off anyway's and look ugly the black will never chip now that it is dyed on. So jason says the moabs are better than the giant tracs? That must be why he was trading a set of new giant tracs for a set? I have been looking at the moabs at the wvh for a time now and thought they looked cool but I thought the tread was not deep enough. I was going to get a set for my tmaxx but I guess I will have to get a set now for sure for my crawler. so are they made of the famous M2 rubber? I was looking at the 2.2 masher 2000 and they are made of that M2 rubber and so are my maxx size. Looks really good so did you narrow the rims at all? whats the hight of the moabs? tall as the krocks? With this thread all will show up with moabs to the next comp. LoL RocKsUrfeR |
