Official Review - Pit Bull Growler - 1.55

I Modified a Set of CI 1.9 Closed Cell Foams just a Tad Bid Shy of 4.25 Tall and Have Had Great Results..I'm Gonna Keep an Eye out For The 1.55 Specific...

so whats the time from till these are available to the general public? ive got a set of nice 1.55 wheels ready for these. allthough i may stretch them on my 5 hole slot mags on my 73 landcruiser.

I'm not sure. I received some yesterday for display purposes to use at the RC Expo next week.

The rest are in transit. I'm hoping in three weeks we should have them. Sorry for the long build up...not on purpose. Factory has been slow lately. Not sure why.

np. paitiently waiting for a set. got to see hotwheels000 run a set at the last comp and i was very impressed at the performance. although he thought the foams were a tad stiff and he wanted to tune the foams a little for the next comp. they are very soft and look amazing. traction was impecable. these will go im my landcrusher and yota p/u for sure.

just use a 1.9 foam.. it will acount for wieght spacing

I assume you mean the 1.9" Lil Nova Foams (4.25" height) on a 1.55" wheel that has stick on lead weight around it, you are correct.

The new 1.55" foam will be tight to the wheel, so if you have stick on lead weight added, you will have to clearance the I.D. of the foam for the weights.

At least now you will have more foam options to choose from for another great Pit Bull tire design and compound.

good idea on the foams. i have to carve out the grey foam due to running lead rope. 3 wrapps in front and 2 in the back. just a bit thicker than the stick on weights (cant find em here in wa state just the funky non lead weights) so i end up taking out about 1/4" of the inner foam so they fit snug around the weights. good idea on the 1.9 foams for 1.55 rims. have a set of rims in waiting.

Vuck---- 1.5 growlers on 1.9 wheels
Bus------1.9 on 2.2 wheels
Wraith---1.9's made into 5" on 2.2 wheels
Bug------2.2 rock beast on 2.2 wheels

Sorry Fellas ,,The Few Sets We Had Were New Prototypes...Our Production Shipment Is Being Sent June 10th..Our Production Co was Nice Enough To Rush Ship us a Few Sets For The Event,,We Have a Few Sets of our Short Course Tires As Well..

The Set We Ran at RCX this Weekend Were My Original Prototypes ,, They Got Beat Like Drum and Killed Everything,, Most People Were Amazed that they Were 1.55's,,, And They Got Tackier as the Days Went on,,,They Are Showing Very Little Wear...And We Sold All the Sets We Went With By Closing The First Day,,
