Looks like I get to put these through the ringer at our scale comp tomorrow. I did some more testing on my rock pile yesterday when it was 62 degrees and completely dry. Really excited about the comp tomorrow, they should do well.....

Ran these at our scale comp today. They really did anything I wanted them to do. I watched quite a few rigs on course and these new 1.55 Growlers drove every line that any of the other rig did. My truck isn't finished (only 37 scale points and allthread links) and I don't have a very good feel for it yet, but I still got second.

Some things I've discovered in the past few times driving....

These tires work really well when it's dry out. They don't wrinkle and grab like the Rock Beasts but they just scratch away and climb. They don't like wheel speed as much as some tires. Many times I would just drop the speed to a slow crawl and they would catch.

They pack with mud dirt and sand quite easily but they still seem to get plenty of traction.

The beads on these tires must be just about perfect because I've yet to pull one out of my bead locks, a major plus.

I still think they are awesome looking for a Class 1 rig, just the perfect height and width.

Overall I'm more impressed than I initially was with these tires. They are really a very good performing Class 1 tire. Not much I would change about them, I think they will hang with if not out perform any sub 4.2" tire out there. I can't wait to see what everyone else thinks once they are released to the general public. Thanks for looking. Tim.

Thanks for the continual review, Tim. My Pajero body will probably have these tires under it in the near future.

Sorry, no video due to me being on crutches. It's difficult enough for me to get out on the rocks without a video camera. I'll see what I can do in the next couple weeks. Anything in particular you want to see?

ah touche good sir. I drive through alot of dirt mud silt and slimy rocks so anything that resembles those conditions.

I mainly just want to see them suffer and how well they grab. I have alot of traction issues.

Those things looked awesome and I couldn't believe how capable they were. I'm definitely getting some of these for my C1 build!

It was this forum runner on my phone. It was blocking video play.

I must say I am impressed. Just when I thought they would keep slipping they bite.

Is your front tires mounted backwards?
