There I was thinking what tyres to get for my wraith when the ripsaws get too worn.

No need to think anymore. As the release is in the distant future I have good time to wear down the ripsaws. Perfect!

At a glance the tread may look similar but the Krawlers will (hopefully) be an entirely different animal than the Flat Irons.

I'm looking forward to them as well! I'm waiting to see what's coming. These have to be coming on an updated truck from the looks of things. New Poison Spyder Jeep body has been unacknowledged as well as the tires. Thinking new Wraith type rig.

Yup. These tires have some big shoes to try and fill to compete with the 2.2 Pitbull's, but they have a head start with the best looking tread pattern a tire could have.

Only because you run them on your FJ.

Personally, I like the look of the Trepador better (only because I ran them on my 1:1)

Im really curious with the TH out now and all the Wrexo builds if there is a IFS Wraith coming soon that will have the new body and tires. It would kimda make since considering Poison Spyder is working on(or has, not 100% sure) an IFS KOH rig. Hmmmmmmm

That's where I think all of this is headed as well... I can't see replacing the wraith (updating maybe), but I can definatley see adding a second option in that area.

I wouldn't get your hope up. I seriously doubt Axial has redesigned the Wraith and got it to production in the short time the Twin Hammers has been out.

Yep I mentioned that earlier in this thread as well as the 2.2 Trepador thread. These tires are coming on a wraith with new skins.

But I doubt they will let us have these tires alone right out of the gate.

These tires are coming with some newly packaged/skinned Wraith, then all of us who don't need a wraith will have to wait longer or scavenge the new tires.

I really hope I'm wrong.

Either way I'm excited about these tires!!!!

I'm stoked for these for a new buggy I'm building but also hoping they make a 1.9" version that comes in right about 4.3"-4.5" height range.

Ha! This coming from the jew who wouldn't buy it from me when it was offered at a temptingly jew friendly price.

Axial said on FB these tires and rigs was made specifically for Larry. BUT I dont see Axial spending all that money for tooling and molds for a 1 off tire/rig. Something has to be in the works!!

I agree, there is no way a company licenses a BFG tire only to make one set. C'mon Axial show us whats coming up.
