FYI, when I first put on my moabs I was messing with different things to see what might work best. The only way I drove it was with no foam.

1. Stock foams, were way too much, and made the tires hard.
2. Stock emaxx foams were way smaller and let the tires flex way more than stock moab foams.
3. I chose to use no foams, but may try to run the emaxx foams and see how that works.

well i have taken the wheels apart from the wheels and the maxx foams did not have enough sidewall stiffness for the type of crawling how did you cut the foams down the only thing i came up with was to use a breakable razorknife...............................any more thoughts?

a breakable razor knife would porbably work quite well. not sure exactly how youd do it but with a razor knife you could do in half the time. keep us updated(or atleast me) cause i just got the moabs but no rims yet so i can do what works best before i get my rims

I just bought some moabs and outlaw 40's for SR5Dave. I narrowed the rims about 3/4", and I am running no foam. These things have great grip!
