i recently got a set of 2.2 pitbull rock beast tires and was wondering if the foams from a wraith kit would work?

In my 8# scx I use CI single stage foams, soft in the rear, and medium in the front.

Not really. They will be WAY too soft.

I have really been liking my Crawler Innovations 6.0" Closed Cell (medium outers in the front, firm in the back) foams in my wraith. My truck is pretty fast and I get very little tire roll when cornering at speed and it still crawls very well!

According to what Eddie at Crawler Innovations recommends after extensive testing he said go with the 6.0T med front firm rear closed cell inners.

Or Proline dual stage memory foams also work but IMO they are just too huge (wide) to stuff into the tire and balloon up. And I would hate to have to cut foams I would have spent just about the same on if I went to Eddie.

Pro-line foams are way to soft for the Rock Beasts,,Eddies Foams are The Best Options For the Rock Beasts, Period....

Im running the crawler innovations 6 inch double duece foams in mine which only use the closed cell inners and normal outers.. They seem to be a bit too narrow for the 2.2 rock beast 2 tires though and i get a lot of tire roll with any side load. I really didnt want to go full single stage closed cell because they seem too firm and would have to really fit well inside the tire. How good is the fit of yours? I can totally feel the double duece foams have movement laterally within the tire.. Cant say im a fan, but i havent run them on the rocks yet. Gonna order some tuning discs to see if that helps.

Did the tuning discs help? What wheel are you running? I am wondering if the side movement can be fixed with narrower wheels.
