Tire Comparison for stock SCX10 Honcho

These are the four I've had experience with: From photo (Yokohama Geolandar 2.2, Proline Flat Irons 1.9, Axial Rip Saws 1.9. and RC4WD Rok Lox 1.9)

Also, I just ordered Proline Super Swampers 1.9 with Integy Beadlocks. I saw they are 1.4" wide which I'm hoping they will widen the tires a bit.



I've had the best overall performance with the Rok Lox in the terrain here in Hawaii. The are a bit tall for a stock Honcho, as I get some rubbing when completely articulated.

I currently use the 1.9 flat irons and I love them. But I am wondering more about those geolandars. How did they do in your different environments? Hard or soft? Compare them to the flat irons if you could for me. I am in southern Idaho and we also have a lot of basaltic lava flows that I crawl on.

The rok lox are a great fit for the Honcho. Minimal trimming is required to get rid of the body rubbing. I love them for overall trail performance. I've also run the 1.9" Proline tsl-sx and really like them, though they are on the smaller side but on the plus side that keeps the center of gravity low. I've got the 1.9 pit bull rock beasts too but I need stiffer foams before I run them again.
