Default Tires for C3 scale comp

I'm looking to buy some 2.2 for my Class 3 scale comp rig, and need some recommandations on wich tire.

The terrain is a combination of rocks and dirt. Have looked at theese tires:
- voodoo KLR
- Proline Hyrax
- Jconsepts Scorpios

I'm afraid the Hyrax an Scorpios would be to tall. Does anyone know how theese compare to KLR's heigth wise?

Is there other tires i should consider?

I will be running scorpio's on my c3 tuber, but they are too wide. so I might take one of the center lug rings out when I decide to mount them.

The 2.2 Jconcepts Scorpios aren't legal for SORRCA comps as they are above the 5.75" tire height limit.

I have little experience with the Hyraxes. But the Pitbull Rockbeasts I have work exceptionally well.

Rock Beasts and Hyraxes are 5.75"
KLRs are 5.5" but I think they measure closer to 5.3" tall

I've used Pitbull RB II (originals) they are now available in a stickier compound

The winner of our 2.2 Trail class last year ran PItbull Growler 2.2 with some lug pattern cuts. They were outstanding.

Previous years winner used Voodoo U4 that were cut

Year before that, the winner had Proline Super Swampers (non XL)

There are many that work great and will be great for you.

I'm using a custom set of Axial Trepadors that I made from 1.9's this year.

Hyrax are an outstanding tire. I have a set on my 1.9 scale comp rig.
