Default Proline swamper XL 1.9's/C.I. Deuce's Wild foams

Finally acquired a set of Proline Xl's and a set of Crawler Innovation's
Deuce's Wild foams made for the Xl's.

side by side of the xl vs the original sx.
4.75 vs 4.3 on Cad to Chrome Walker evans beadlocks.

The Dw foams really squares the tire up
Plenty of sidewall support.
Waterproof for plenty of wet action

Heavier trucks (8+lbs)will do good with this tire/foam setup.

Lighter rigs may have to do a lil foam trimming to keep things from getting a lil too bouncy.

Tires feel good,same G8 compound.
I like the increase in size..width and height

Should make those 1.9 wraiths look really good!

More scale tire options the better...

Now to put them on a rig...??

I got the tires and CI foams sitting here as well. My only gripe is the width, personally I would have liked them to be the same width as the original 1.9. Looking forward to running them, I'm sure this combo will work extremely well.

I think if they stayed at the original width, they might get a bit unpredictable in high speed turns and side hilling as they might tend to fold, tho the CI foams would help out quite a bit with that.

I'm running this setup with a set of rc4wd truescale wheels on a beefed up honcho. At slow controlled speeds even with a lighter rig these foams are great! They let the tire do the work its supposed to do rather than folding over or flopping. I want a set for my 4.19 claws I'm running now.

Yeah, I agree on that but I think they would look a whole lot better. It's all about the scaleness!

How well do these foams work for a rig under 8lbs. Just under 8#s.I could always add a little more weight in the fronts to make up the difference.

My honcho is around 7 lbs and I'm very satisfied with how my truck performs with the DW foams.

They should still work..might be a Lil stiff at 1st.

After they get wet a few times they soften up a Lil bit from what ive noticed.

Vent? Should I vent the tires or should I vent the wheels? Using Axial 1.9 wheels with the DW foams.
