Default Axial BFG Krawler T/A vs. RC4WD Rock Crusher X/T

Anyone have experience with BOTH of these tires? I ask about these two specifically since they are the same tread pattern... I've had a set of the RC4WD Rock Crusher X/T tires on my Wraith for a while now, and I thought they were amazing, especially on the rocks. I'm wondering how the grip may compare to the R35 compound BFG's that Axial uses on the Poison Spider Wraith.. I picked up a set, but Have not had time to test them out as of yet.

I have ran the bfg krawler t/a in the r40 compound and the rc4wd rock crusher x/t. I preferred the bfg's inthe hard compound over the rock crushers.

Sorry dude, but i've never met, or heard from, or even knew there was anyone in existence, that thought crushers (in any damn size!) were amazing! Did you paint a body in an enclosed space? And yes, i've run the 1.9's & 2.2's. One of the BEST looking, WORST performing tires in scale history!

The BFG work great with some weight added.

The OG rc4wd rock crushers is one of the hardest compounds ever made.

The new Axial BFG krawlers are hands down softer and more sticky in(r35).

To compare the 2 is like night and day difference.

Why do people always say stuff like this?? Weight added, if any at all, depends on how the rig is set up and what wheels, foams, suspension, weight distribution, terrain, purpose of use.... and so on and on and on. So what weighs more....a 6 oz mayhem wheel with 3 oz added or a 1.2 oz slw with 3 oz added?

To the OP, BFG hands down

I guess it is personal preference on the weight, I should have been a little more clear after I started adding alloy parts and a set of beef tubes the BFG tires (stock) started to really work very well plus they are 7-8months old. Now they work very well. I would not add wheel weights ever, to much rolling mass, just slap them on the rims and hit the rocks

I have a set of BFG's
I was not very impressed with them. They seemed to work better after I siped all the lugs, but still no where near as much grip as the proline TSL's I replaced them with. Or the irocs I have on my 1.9.

Cool looking tires though

Out of curiosity, are they the stiffer bfg's that come on the poison spider, or the r35's? Pretty big difference.

I love my BFG's. R35 for the win.
