I'm really going to follow this testing. I like stiffer foams and am willing to make a few compromises on forward bite to gain in off camber stability. In my Mad Beast I used 4.75 with firm fr/rr and so far it seems to work on my #8-#9 rig. Just starting to break in though. I like the single stage in my rockers for G6 type stuff but for C2 the dual stage seems to be working better.
But anyway, if I can get similar performance with a closed cell and not have to worry about the foam breaking down I'm all for it. It seems if the inner foam was a little smaller and the closed cell outer was a little larger it might make the tires more pliable.

I'm overly excited for these. I'll probably buy a spare along with foams from CI when these are released.

Damn Tim! That old Ford works! I recognized a lot of lines you drove there were I know I have really struggled in the past. That rock is a bit slippery compared to Utah yes, no?

Yeah, there are some great lines down at Highrocks and the old Ford surprised me too. I think I finally got the spring rates dialed....it's a different truck now. That was all shot in about 30 minutes the other day after work.

And yes, everything's a bit slippery compared to Utah.

Those rocks are pretty slippery indeed! I think those did really well on some of the harder lines. The video never does the angle/approach at Highrocks much justice. Hopefully I can make the next comp and get my grubby little fingers on those tires. The new truck looks fantastic Tim!
