Default Review,, 1.9 Pit Bull Growler, Prototype

By Now, Im Sure Most of You Know We Have Recieved Our 1st Set Of Prototypes of the New 1.9 Pit Bull Growler,,Those of You wWho Havent Seen Or Heard, Pay Attention..

I Am Gonna Be As Straight Shooting as I Can With This and Cover All I Can With This,My Review..

Starting With My Initial Thoughts, All The Way To The Release Day When You Guys Get Em To..

I Own a Set Of The 1.1 Version Of These Bad Mamma Jamma's, 47 x 21 x 20 ,, So I Know What to Expect In The Look for The Scaled Down Version, 4.75 x 1.75 x 1.9 ,,

When I Got The Email Saying THe Tires Were IN Route to Me, I Kinda Got all Crazy,Thinking The Alpha Dog was Joking, and Was Playing a Cruel Joke, Cause Ive Been Waiting a LOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG Time For Them,,When They Showed Up I Was Very Excited,Almost Didnt Want To Open The Box,But I Did,,and Boy Was I Glad I Did,,

1st Glance ,,Looks Are Stunning,,Details Like No Other Tire Weve Done,,On The 1.1 Version We Have Barbed Wire Going Around the Sidewall, On The 1.9 Version We Had Chainlink Done, All The Side Lugs and Details Are There,Except The Ones That Were Just To Small,By Far This Tire Gets My Vote For Sexiest Tire Weve Done To Date,..We Have Had a Great Learning Experience Over The Last 4 Yrs Making Scale Tires and Weve Listened To What You Guys Want In, Bead Design,Scale Appeal,Size and Awesome Performance,,And Im Pretty Sure Weve Been Able To Keep Up,and Stay On Point With That.
They Mounted Up Perfect on Every Glue On Style Wheel I Own,And Mounted Up Perfect on Axial 8 hole's, and Locked Up Beadlocks,,Im Running CI Closed Cell 4.75 Foam, Med Up Frt and Firm In The Rear,,And So Far That Combo Seems Like Its Gonna Stay,..

I Had To Get a Side By Side Shot of Our 1.55 Growler, 1.9 Rock Beast,1.9 Mad Beast and the 1.9 Growler For Comparison..**Side Note** 1.9 Growler is Not Mounted,,All Others Are..

After Getting Them Mounted Up On The Axials 1st I Was So Pleased With Fit I Had To Go Run Em,,Lucky For Me It Had Snowed a Day Or So Before Allowing Me To Do Something New,,Start The Tests In The Snow,,The 1.1s Float On The Top Of the Snow When Ive Had The Chance To Run Them In The White Dirt, So I Hoped These Would Do The Same,,And They Did Just That,,They Reacted Just Like The 1.1's,,It Made Me Laugh Out Loud..Now Snow Wheeling Is Tuff,Not Knowing Whats Under It, But When They Found Something To Go Over,They Did,,My Only Limit Was Ground Clearance,Which Halts All Tires In There Tracks..They Cleaned Out Very Nicely With Just a Lil Blip, and Remained On Course While Doing So, Im Kinda Bummed The Snow Melted When It Did,,Only 2 Days of Snow Tests Were Available,,

Now That The Snow Has Gone (for now) It Made My Scale Test Spot a Soup Bowl Of Soft,Sticky Clay Mud With Some New Washouts From The Run Off,,So I Flogged the 1.9's In The Slop,,They Kept a Smile On MY Face The Whole Time,,I Have To Also Say Im Still Not Running Any Weights Yet,,That May Or May Not Of Hurt Me With Some Stuff I Did During My Tests,But I Didnt Really Notice Any 1Thing That Made Me Say Shux, I Wish I Had Weight,I Can Always Add if Needed,.. All Day In The Slop The Growler's Found Traction When I Thoughtg There Wasnt Any,,Mostly With Very Lil Wheel Speed,,I Needed The Skinny Pedal a Few Times,But For Small Bursts,No Long Periods of Time,,They Cleaned Out Just Like They Do On The 1.1's So Going Forward Was Very Common During Testing, Even When all Boogered Up They Still Kept Going,,I Have Video Footage From Todays Test,So Look For That Soon,,Some Pics From Today,,
Before Starting The Test Today,,

Ill Have More In The Upcoming Weeks,,Thanks For Looking

Dezmoon These tires are looking absolutely phenomenal!! I've already had dreams about them and blazing the trails, and the "scale" pictures to come are going to be great.
I cannot wait to push the Order Now button and get the these mounted up.

Keep up the awesome work, I can't get enough of Pitbull Tires!

Have you tried them reversed? Just curious if there might be any improvement.

I've tried That with our 1.55's,,I didn't Really see Much of a Difference in Performance,,I Will Eventually , but not For a While,,plus I Am Not Really a Fan Of Running Directionals In Reverse..
