wd40 in my opinion didnt work very well for me as well as just saving the money for stickier compound tires. I sprayed the wd on the tires and kept them in a zip lock bag for over a day. when i installed the tires i cleaned very well with simple green and then let the simple green dry to make them sticky. The problem was the lugs wore really fast and left rolled up balls of rubber on tough climbs. The tires were improved over the way they were stock but it was minimal and far from what a good set of stickies were. hope this helps you and others in this situation |

WD40 is petroleum based.. Petrol eats away at the rubber, causing it to wear off faster. Gives you grip at the exspense of xtrm tread wear. simple green would be the way to go. |

put wd40 on a brush. hold the truck with slight throttle trim, apply wd40 to tires with brush while the truck is running. drive.
