Default rc4wd internal beadlock ring

Hey I'm new to the forums and thought this would be the correct place for my question. If not I'm sorry. So I bought a set of RC4WD Pro10 1.9 beadlocks. The internal beadlock ring looks similar to the proline compatible internal ring. Only thing mines is silver and the proline one's are blue. My question is are they the same or are they diffrent.

Nope, they're different.
The rc4wd ones are narrower, while the pro-line compatible ones, being larger, help to keep hold the tire between the external part of the wheel and the internal ring. I'm using the proline compatible rings with rc4wd Jk stock wheels, rock beast pitbull tires and crawler innovation closed cell foams and they work with them, too.

Thanks for the reply, now only if RC4WD wasn't always out of stock of those proline compatible rings. That's something I would like to buy. But for now I guess I'll go with the pvc pipe direction. Thanks again Skullsplitter.

I had success using the VP OMF internal rings as an alternative for their always out of stock proline rings. =)

RC4wd Steelies + VP OMF Ring + TSL's = Winning

Wow I never even knew about those. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll be sure to grab me a set of those VP OMF internal rings. I really like the look of the RC4WD wheels and proline TSL's. I think thats combination is sick. Thank's Shinjari.

I wouldn't mind a set of those but every time I check they are out of stock. But I'm glad to say that I have a set of VP OMF ring on the way.

Thanks to Shinjari for the heads up on VP OMF internal rings, I was able to mount my proline tsl's on to my pro10's with no problem. Yes I would have just bought the proline compatible internal ring but they are "always" out of stock. The VP OMF rings are the next best thing. Bead holds good too! (stock rc4wd ring on left, omf on right)

Do you happen to have any pics of your JK stock wheels mounted up? I'm thinking about a set for my Rubicon and would love see how they look.

just an fyi on this mod, not all 1.9 RC4WD internal beadlock wheels are the same size. i took a 1.9 VP ring from a omf wheel and attempted this trick on some 1.9 RC4WD DC-2 wheels. the VP ring is smaller and will not fit without modification. how much do i need to dremel out ? im not sure yet but i ordered an extra VP ring to give it a shot
