Just 0.02" over the Class 1 limit. Way to go on the size choice. Other than that looks great. And in x2ss too. |

What were they thinking with this one? Did they lose the Bogger license all of a sudden? |

The tread pattern looks different and better than the original. IMO the original mud slingers we're ugly but these look better for some reason.

why they didnt fudge the listed tire height to make it a little more marketable to class 1 scalers is beyond me, but i remember them listing the 2.2 irok at 5.80", so it doesnt surprise me.

i like the tire, i got enough pairs of the originals to make an 8x8, but why go through all the hassle of making the new mold and all that when people have been crying for the 1.9 boggers to be released in x2ss?

2/10ths of an inch, really? Another tire off the list. Too small for C2, too big for a legal C1. Doesnt make any sense to me |

i think we got Pitbull to change their listed height so the 2.2 Beasts would be legal. Maybe this tire would be too good as a c1 tire, so they just made it bigger to mess with out minds. well done tire rc4wd, but i think you are going to miss some sales to the C1 scaler croud because of .02" i can make my mtz or baja claws taller with foams. just change the manufactures size please. just relist the size please. |

| Re: RC4WD Mud Slinger 2 XL 1.9 Ok thanks... But if listed size is not correct as the majority items that you can buy.... I did not test the tyres but usually there are some difference between the declared size and the real one.. Maybe can be tested as original, to check the real dimensions and make an instance @ sorca to be listed in legal c1 class... Or maybe we can ask rc4wd to change the official size...maybe it is more simple I'l check with the manager for this |

go ahead and check with them. i am not sure they will change it. most of the guys at rc4wd understand the sorca rules, perhaps this was done for some ulterior motive. maybe the tire is so darn aggressive they just didnt think it should be a c1 tire. hard to say. but we did get pitbull to officially change their height with a small thread about it. but rc4wd is a different monster.

| Re: RC4WD Mud Slinger 2 XL 1.9 A ton of people do use them for comp though and putting themselves out of the market by making a tire 2/10ths too big just seems dumb. 2/10ths isnt going to make a fun runner not buy a tire.

So the tire would be legal if the manufacturer changed the text? Why not just let a guy be legal without that mumbo jumbo since the actual tire would be unchanged? I guess that's why I'm no comper. Anyways, I just ordered a set of these and will report back. I had been wanting to check out the old ones but they were too small. Having them be a bit bigger and made in the awesome X2 compound seems like just the ticket for my mud truck. |
